Are Alex Jones and Webster Tarpley Disinfo Agents?
Written by Dixie Flatline
I have been listening to Webster Tarpley on the Alex Jones show for some time. Tarpley is a very clever disinfo agent, who uses large amounts of doublethink to unbalance the listener. Infowars has some great guests, but the show has really tanked in the last 6 months.
Now why Alex Jones has Tarpley on Infowars and continues to pump him up is beyond me. Tarpley is the opposite of Ron Paul and Chuck Baldwin. On economics, law, history and social policy, Tarpley is basically an ideological neocon. Webster is as far from a Libertarian as Obama is, just in a different direction.
That Alex Jones continues to feature Webster Tarpley in movies and pump him up every single day, means that AJ is either,
- Unaware of the subject matter Tarpley is promoting
- Deliberately promoting Tarpley’s doublethink
- An idiot
I don’t think Alex is an idiot.
So what is the angle here?
I’m not sure, but over the next week, I will be breaking down Webster Tarpley in an effort to help people see past his doublethink and lies, and continue on a path to better understanding economics, politics and history. This was a role that Infowars was playing, but has abandoned since the US Presidential Election ended.
Before I end this post I want to offer an example. The other day, Alex Jones had John McManus from the John Birch Society on. Alex gave McManus a lot of respect. Tarpley comes on yesterday and says something derogatory about the anti-red movement in the 50s. The anti-red movement was the JBS. This is classic doublethink. Alex has an esteemed guest on, speaks to that audience, then a couple days later, has his new buddy Webster Tarpley talking down what the guest represents.
Today, I am listening to Tarpley again, and he’s very careful never to say “private enterprise”. That is because Tarpley has made very clear that he hates free markets, appearing to me to be a classic statist (socialist/fascist) and I intend to prove this with his own words.

Mental red flags pop up constantly whenever I consume content produced by Alex Jones. He takes lots of reasoning shortcuts to get to his conclusions. But this is an interesting analysis, too. I look forward to seeing more from you on this.

MENTAL FLAGS most important thing to remember is the (system, the creators ,the internet police ) eg: alex joneses mates will not show any of us the real content of their agendas they alike are all (liars, thieves) and out to further the agendas of the so called ELITE ( THE BIG FAT PIGS) THEY DO THIS BY GETTING US TO FOCUS ON THEIR AGENDAS: what ever one focuses on EXPANDS and they know this: they can only take what we give : so lets stop giving them our own FREE WILL: BEFORE THEY INDOCTRINATE US ALL INTO THEIR PERSONAL AGENDAS ( MASS SLAVERY): DOUBLE THINKING IS DESTROYING SO MANY GOOD PEOPLE : A PERSON CANT BE HONEST EVEN IF THEY WANT TO BE
HONESTY WILL BE RIDICULED. BY THE SAME PUBLIC THAT DEMANDS IT (ITS ALL DOUBLE THINK)
THE ELITE’S MOTO IS
SO IF WE CANT CONVINCE THEM CONFUSE THEM
IF TOU CANT WIN THEM BY THEIR HEARTS: GRAB THEM BY THE BALLS.
AN EXAMPLE OF THIS IS THE WAR ON TERROR

There is a fundamental principle taught to law students which I will impart to those asking rhetorical questions such as the title of this piece. If one is going to ask a condemning question about a target, they had better well-know ALL the possible answers.
Framing Mr. Tarpley in any particular way does nothing to discredit his research or reasoning about the “mechanics” of government sponsored terrorism, and amounts to low grade ad hominem.
That only serves as blank ammunition against one’s own credibility.
I do not agree with many of the statements made by AJ or WGT, nor most of what passes for “NWO truth” or “911 truth,” but educated people can easily identify hit-pieces, sweeping generalizations, and weak attempts at character assassination without much analysis.
If you are able to avoid playing to that audience with your remarks, then I wish you continued success.
Best Regards,
James C.

I care nothing about Webster Tarpley’s research on conspiracy theory. He is not credible because his economic ideology is completely flawed.

I love Webster Tarpley. Nevertheless, he and Alex Jones are both disinfo agents. Tarpley worked for years for Lyndon LaRouche, who, among other things, carried out missions for the national security counsel. I don’t know much about Jones’ background.
Remember that effective disinfo is 95% true. Tarpley says a lot of truth. But, at bottom, his job is 1) to scare the shit out of the dissenters, by telling them a new war is imminent, etc. and 2) to promote a theory of 911 in which George Bush is an unwitting victim of invisible plotters.
Alex Jones’ job is to mix information that would fire up left-wing dissenters with anti-immigrant and anti gun control screeds that frighten left wingers. Thereby innoculating the left-wingers from the truth. So now if one attempts to show a left-winger the US government’s authorship of 911, the left-winger will think “Oh god that that BS the right-wing anti-immigrant types say.”
Scare the shit out of the people, divert their suspicious gaze from the guys in charge, and mix the truth into a repellent swill of nonsense … these are 3 of the fundamental techniques of disinfo.

This is ridiculous! You say you are going to “frame” Tarpley as a “disinformationist”, and even a tool for the right wing. This is so weird as to be unbelievable. You are implying that because Tarpley (and Jones) are expposing elitist plans for wars, genocide and social opression they must, naturally, be working for the elites.
How Logical!
I won`t even wish you good luck, this is fail…
A few facts though: Lyndon Larouche was 1:An intellectual, 2: a communist/syndicalist.
The US regime (the real regime, not the talking heads in the White House) is 1: Insane and 2 Fascist/syndicalist.
The right wing asylum in the US always try to frame people for being communists, meanwhile the economic system in the US is communist in the sense that it is most definitely syndicalized, or corporatized if you prefer that term.
The only difference between the ruling elite in the US, and more generally the world, and LaRouche is that he is what has been called an anarcosyndicalist, whereas they are fascists.
In his view the workers (us) control and own the resources (as in the US originally, and includes basic necessities as water, power, health, property), and in theirs the elite owns them, and us.
This has been talked about since Jefferson, I suggest you wake up and stop making an ass of yourself.

These are the same techniques used by the talking head politicians, the media, and the global elitists whose goal it is to rule the world and control the wealth. hhhmmm, interesting

@ 5., 6.
I’m with Simon (7.), from a different angle. You have blog which, in the past 4 months, 10 people have responded to.
“Tarpley” (whatever this entity is) has YouTube video hits in the tenths of thousands. He talks a good game (anti-oligarchy, anti-finance, revealing the secret service-false flag nexus, etc.). He has some odd economics (demand-side, inflationary, in love with FDR, etc.).
But he calls on people to reject 9/11 official myths, is extremely reasonable in terms of building coalitions (of convenience even), and generally runs his mouth without visible agenda-driven reins.
And you’re calling this guy a “disinfo” agent???
No wonder they’re fucking us over as they are. Two ‘dissidents’, three opinions. Start using your fucking brain. Pragmatically.
(I’m not commenting on the A. Jones accusations. His ‘hothead’ style makes me uneasy, but that’s no reason to reject a person, much less his opinions. I’m just not very familiar with his stuff.)

Obama has Youtube videos with hundreds of thousands of hits. Popularity is not credibility.
Tarpley is a disaster zone on history and economics. Oh sure, he knows facts and repeats expert opinions, but his analysis is badly flawed. As a court reporter he’s got value, as an expert witness, his biases make him suspect at best (pun intended).
As for the profile of my blog, it is very low profile and intentionally so. I have no desire to be a star of the blog circuit or to gain any notoriety. Most people find me through search, which is how the internet should work, not as a cult of personality the likes of which are discussed above.

TRUE THAT! And he did attack Ron Paul constantly during the “election”
as he attacks Andrew Jackson and Jefferson, while promoting the traitor Hamilton, and national (centralized) Banks!
And I never understood how he (WT) could be such a large voice for 911 “Truth” and yet not see FDR’s role in the original Pearl Harbor.
(And this is a guy that has promoted NPT theories on 911?)
Its hands OFF new dealer FDR no matter what.
He believes that the NWO is simply a control mechanism for “western imperialism” which he blames for everything, while CONSTANTLY shilling for Russia. (could he be a double agent?) Minimally, he is an “unwitting” capo-dupe of a continues PSY-OP… IE: Attack on Iran is eminent, total US economic crash “cataclysm”, end of the world / WW3 warnings etc.. This served to split the REAL Paleo left from the growing 911 Truth unified effort (Sheehan / McKinney etc.. during the KenneBUNKport warnings.)
This is exactly what the power elite want people to believe, and be in FEAR of. Yes it “could” happen but somehow it never does. Yes, FEAR sells.
Jones only USES Tarpley as he plagiarizes and uses EVERYONE with a modicum of popularity, which he usurps and takes credit for himself.
With AJ, the devil himself can be useful if he can grant him fame and fortune. Both will turn in other patriots, and dissenters to save themselves if and when the time comes IMO.

It is clear that if these people are allowed, with such success, to reach such a huge audience then there must be a rat in the house. Alex jones and company routinely appear on Fox news, and do everything they can to incite people and aquire personal information on people by selling products and pandering memberships. this is being done across the web. Mixing lies with truth is actually an occult method of imposing a spell of hoplessness and confusion. Like zietgiest, with talented crews and ambigious funds backing supposedly one college age guy, who took credit for the whole thing, and the now infamous AJ & co., are at bare minimum — on the payroll of the very machine that they ridicule. Think now, garage startups like Google, Facebook, etc. come on — thses are now proven gov’t agency projects with corporate fronts. The net itself is policed and governed by this machine – everything that is on the net is allowed to be on the net. Taking over communications is item one in any hostile militaristic takeover, but actually this has been going on for a long time – as the motive for all this is something larger than fat cats smoking cigars in a room. They could have killed people a long time ago and quick, still can, but why haven’t they. We are being prepared like cattle for something big that has and will not be revealed on the net, tv, or radio. It reeks of something spiritual, hyper dimensional, something scary. Study unified field theory but at the same time believe in good, for everything has an opposite. All matter and energy operate on a balanced scheme of preserverance. The negative is highly influential here, creating a massive inbalance in this dimension and probably surrounding dimensions of energy and wavelengths. That means one thing, something must bring balance or the negative will implode upon itself – or better yet consume itself. It is part of a program that us serfs are not supposed to be privy to. Something drives these so called people, like a whip to the back, to do the things they do. Anyone who looks at Alex Jones and doesn’t see an insecure fat body like all the other ones that work in gov’t, are under the spell of the negative, given false hopes into a pig is just what the essoteric minded smile at. keep in mind, even at best, they — they being the negative forces of this world have an allegiance of probably at best — 10 million, probably half actually, that are willing to fight for them. And there are 6 billion people in the word. What is wrong with this picture. This problem, virus, dark plague – whatever, could be over within hours – despite their technology that we could easily take from them anyway. When I was in the Army, drill sergeants drilled into us that the enemy fears one thing, a massive unified army comming over the hill, and individuality has no place in this Army. We are divided on what, who, why this crap is going on, but the crap keeps getting worse and bigger. We need to clean up our house before there is a time when the opportunity has escaped us.

The holographic universe, spinning — spectors in the ear of thought, talking — ghosts in the machine, contriving — the illusion of the eye, tricking — coded color in a fabric of energy, figuring. These are the principles that are the pallet of existence that the serfdom never get a chance to see while employed in the company of snakes that widdle a hard fabrication. People are being fattened for the so called demons that approach on a swinging planet called the x factor. The enlightened here believe these devouring machines are the end when they are nothing more than a mechanism to differentiate the weak from the beloved prospects of eternity. We are energy beings, few and far between. There are rulers amongst us that send the white snake up a child’s spinal cavity to be driven themselves, by the crawly, scaly things. They are a continous failure in the program of light, sound, and energy. They turn and repeat their tail wagging while screaming in agony, never leaving the chaos of the many. I AM – will ascend into divinity and understand a little bit more than now. Can you ever possibly deny me and the fact that I AM to prevail over the earth and all of its creatures? I AM infinity. I chose my destiny before the show ever started. I wanted you to beat me, ridicule me, catagorize me as retarded. This way I can easily leave a fabrication of the oh – lazy argument and find myself in further awareness. An awareness that I AM pure energy, infinite, and full of possibilities. I took a drug once, called salvia extract * 20 and became one dimensional. Everything was connected with physics and explanations other than sensibility. There were things that were watching me from somewhere behind wavelengths and clouds — space. They knew something that I didn’t, or did I? This place here is an illusion, not to be worried about or even considered, other than a passage that must be traveled. The lies are meaningless, and the time inconsequential. For if I believe and get the others to believe than all of this will change into something different. They know this and that is why they are fearful of the story I propose vs. the one they conjured up called christianity. Too many believe now, and are drawing it into reality amongst the continuum. This is thier worry, their hate. Evil is a mishap that always trips over itself. We are judgement and the God that will deliver us from evil. I know this and more so I will not get stuck in this world again and relive the misery and injustice. I can leave the car, house, refrigerator, television, sex, hunger, and pop music to the ones far behind this message, so they may learn the meaning of regret. I found my destiny on the end of a stick, moving around like a feather in the wind.

Why doesn’t someone try asking Alex Jones about Frank Davis and Obama, the man obama wrote about in his memoirs saying that he was his mentor. This Frank guy wrote some material you can find on the net, illustrating that he was a pedophile, communist, and alcoholic. Obama was with this man for 9 years as his mother left him with his grandparents who in turn let this Frank neighbor watch over obama in Hawaii. Pedophelia and homosexuality is a psychological communist weapon. Communism flourished in hawaii and california back then, backing the hippie movement. Also, several homosexuals in Obama’s radical church in illinois were murdered or disappeared before his election. Hmm. The man is there to incite racial tension because he is so outragiously sick (Osama Bin Laden-Obama Hussien, come on)that the whites are going to piss all over themselves. The powers that be want a race war among other things. We have a president with identity issues, who probably has Aids, who has to know that the Illuninati –masons (who were part of the klu klux klan) are settinghim up but he’s walking into a trap nevertheless. What drives someone to willingly drink of power when it is poisoned, and he knows it? The man has serious issues. But try posting this material on Alex Jones site and it will disappear, just like other relevant info. Somebody should capture and waterboard Aj and make his ass squeal like a pig.

Wow I can’t believe how many morons are on this blog…has anyone here read Webster’s works? I mean I support Ron Paul …but when it comes to economic policy Webster tarpley compleley destrorys Ron Paul’s idotic idea that the market is infallible and that deregulation will solve all the woes of the world….Tarpley makes it clear that our enimies are not government ….governments are merely a tool of the people (hopefully the public is educated enoughto use that tool) but nevertheless in this “sense” he and Ron Paul agree but let’s be clear in our understanding of the present reality! right now Government is in the hands of wallstreet and the bankers (federal reserve) not the people! In short there are two parts to a revolution…. The “destroyers” those who bring us a clean slate I.e Ron Paul, alex jones, oathkeepers… And on the otherhand there is the “rebuilders” people with clear plans on what type of system we need to institue in place of a failed state this is where Webster tarpley comes in…far too many people get caught up in the personality cult of alex jones rather than understanding that he nor anyone for that matter is perfect (cmon Ron Paul doesn’t even think 9/11 was an inside job!!) when it comes to liberty just know that Webster is on OUR side but in his analysis he is frankly far more evolved than Ron Pauls fantasy about the “free market”

As someone who has worked in banking and on Wall Street, I appreciate Tarpley’s commentary. He’s acute, informed, and often correct in his analyses.
This article and most of the commentary are hit pieces. Tarpley’s work is dismissed and denigrated without substancial counter-information. Read his books, consider his reasoning, and post with a better information base than anyone except the last poster brings to the thread.
The global economy has been fractured by huge financial interests. A goon like Madoff is only a tiny part of the problem. Jimmy Dimon, Richard Rubin, and a host of GSers are more central to the issue of economic destabilization, and no one is going after them.
Information is key to understanding what brought our economy to this pass, and how to extricate our country from it. Webster Tarpley brings a perspective to these events that is refreshing and well-informed. His read of the economy is usually on target. Try reading his works rather than listening to his broadcasts.
Tarpley is an unusually gifted current events analyst.

As an engineer, and an expert on statics, dynamics, vibrations, heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics, I can tell you that the Twin Towers did not collapse into their own footprints (completely pulverized to dust, no less)as a result of being struck by airplanes. I will argue this with anyone, anytime. Any scientist or engineer who denies this is either an idiot or a liar.
The laws of physics are never broken, and in this case they tell a clear story. Webster Tarpley’s analysis of 9/11 may or may not be entirely correct, and we will probably never know just how correct or incorrect it is, but there’s one thing for certain; the public is being lied to. Anyone who understands science knows this.
There are now almost 1,000 architecture and engineering professionals asking for a new investigation into 9/11 as a result. How about a debate of the science? I’m sure AE911 Truth could scare up an architect or engineer to debate the science of the collapses. Any takers?
P.S. So you’re a big fan of the John Birch Society, eh? Just how racist are you?

Tarpley is a moron just like Alan Watt, Max Keiser, Phil Berg, Damon Vickers, Leonard Horowitz, David Icke and every other derelict Jones manages to drag in from the nearest dank alley.
I remember Tarpley refuted the Austrian school on the Jones show last year by this brilliance: “if the austrians were so smart, where are they now?”(that’s a paraphrase, I heard this one sometime after the 08 housing crisis). Tarpley is a firm believer in “new deal” socialism, which is essentially just plain old meat and potatoes, bust your skull if you cross us, socialism.
And to the commenter who named themselves “wow” and continued to call everyone an idiot who commented here: first of all, they – Tarpley and Paul – do believe in government as tool of the people but so do socialists. The difference is that Paul believes in government having the barest functioning so as not to impose on individual liberties. This means protection of people, property and freedom, period. You, Tarpley and Adolf Hitler on the other hand, believe that since their intentions are pure, a planned economy should work out well. It’s just that we got the wrong experts running the show we need experts on “our side.” GIVE ME A F’ing BREAK.
At times i love Jones but damn his guests are frustrating. And AJ’s emphasis on the it being a private central bank is misleading to alot of americans who naturally have that “i’m just a victim”, “we need equality of results”, “the majority is infallible” type idiots who naturally fall prey to Tarpley’s socialist trap.

Every person who shares information helps bring bits and pieces of the puzzle together. The wise person who studies world history will not neglect Bible prophecy because it keeps the focus where it ought to be–on Rome. The Roman Catholic Church is seeking to regain the power that she had during the Dark Ages. She can only do this by keeping attention away from herself by using front organizations and thought guides to steer people’s attention and thinking where she wants it. It may be that folks like AJ and Tarpley serve that very purpose. It’s interesting though that I don’t hear the name Eric Phelps much. He wrote the 1000+ page book “Vatican Assassins.”

My God if we had politicians who were 95 per-cent truthful we would all be living in a far better world than we are now. I will not deal with the in and outs of the immense global problems that now confront mankind, I will just summarise mans past history and leave the reader to agree or not. Firstly, you cant blame Tarpley for supporting a nationalized bank that controls the money. this is the only sensible way for a modern economy to be run. Tarpleys argument is against oligarchy, which is a system that basically has one mission: to promte oligarchy. Where does any of his work support oligarachs.
Also, tarpley assumes christain humanism as his ideals. This prohibits any investigation into jewish/christian conspiracies. I really dont think Alex Jones is dis-info working for the oligarchs. Hes just someone who can be considered a christian nut.

The old saying “nobody’s perfect” applies to us all. Look at the “Bible” and how many different interpretaions there are of this book looked upon by many as the word of God. On that basis God is a God of confusion, a master of double think, duplicitous, is God good or bad, a democrat or republican, or are they a cover for his socialist intentions!
I think it is quite clear one can interpret anything to fit our own personal agenda, that is why it is very important that we are not thrown off course by those whose sole objective is mischief. It is every individuals responsibility to listen to all arguements and for them to weigh up all the pro’s and con’s, to think for ourselves and not hand our thinking processes to others, but to come to our own conclusions as the evidence leads us to where it will. In any debate or arguement if it is done thoroughly the preponderence of evidence will show itself one way or another, thereby protecting us from those whose intent is not the truth.

Tarpley was on Jones the other day stating that the GOP runs the tea parties…
NOT TRUE.
One group raised money for a ‘bus’ and used an established group to help them with the PR, but the individual groups in the states are made up of smaller non-partisan groups such as that in NH and have nothing to do with the GOP.
One group does not control the tea parties in the whole country.
Jones has a variety of people who come from both partisan sides… I’m not sure what to think of Tarpley but I am in the thick of it and I know what I know.
There is NO GOP whatsoever controlling us. (We wish they’d be involved but they have done nothing)

I prefer Jeff Rense’s outlook. Rense and Jones used to cooperate. Recently Jones made an angry phone call to Rense because one of Rense’s columnists criticized Jones’ wife.

This is one of the best blogs I’ve seen on the net.The people on this blog (#14#15)have presented my sentiments exactly. There’s one other thing I would like to add, those who are unaware, are unaware, that they are unaware. When people take the time to slow down and clear their mind, contemplate their life(beginning to END)they’re going to come to a conclusion that is the most horrific, overwhelming, and lonely feeling they could ever have. Then and only then can they come to the knowledge of truth. Remember you can only recognize truth if truth is in you. So,when we learn the truth,we see that those who are responsible for the atrocious acts against his fellow man know their own destiny and except that destiny,to the point that nothing is out of bounds for them,(do as thy will),because they know there’s nothing for them past the grave. They intend to get what they want now,and they should after all they gave their EVERLASTING soul for it,no matter who or what they have to destroy to get it. I personally like anyone who is willing to give others as much of truth as their capable of (disinformation or not) I take only what I need from it. When I contemplate the information the truth comes to me about and I would implore each of you to do the same.

Dr. Brooks (ret.)
Take your pick, as the whole range of opinions are showing up here.
I have a copy of Webster Tarpley’s Unauthorized Bush Biog., and, with all the documentation, he certainly can’t be labeled a “disinformation agent.” Scholarship speaks for itself, so I respect him for that.
There is something mysterious in all of this. Why do TV owners allow facts to come out like on Fox News? The enemies of freedom are very powerful and could stop all those revealing their “inner secrets.” So they have a purpose in allowing these folks to speak so freely.
We know that there is nothing but war after war after war, if not with our involvement, at least with people somewhere in the world. So we can rest assured there is another big one being planned with CORP US involvement as I write.
I don’t believe we belong here. Somehow we were placed on earth to be involved in a crazy mixed up activity called “civilization.” There is nothing civilized about it. I certainly don’t appreciate it, and others seem to be very fed up with it as well. Yet is there anything we can do to change it? Nobody has yet, and I don’t expect it to be changed now or in the future.
There is always some individual or group claiming to have the answer. Yet they never accomplish what they claim. The best we could hope for is to be left alone to live out our lives without interference from someone else, certainly not a tyrannical government claiming to work for us. What hope do we have that this may happen? None………..
