NirGrahamUK has come up with the javascript to facilitate a workaround for a lack of a quote feature in the Mises Community forums since the newest rich editor was introduced.

The way to use this javascript is very simple.  We create something called a bookmarklet.

Mises Quotes <<<=== Left click and drag that link.

Click and drag the link above (Mises Quotes) to your bookmarks toolbar in your browser. This will create a bookmark named “Mises Quotes”.

Now when you are in the Mises Community forums, and you click reply to any post, go to this bookmark on your bookmark toolbar or in your bookmarks folder, and click it. It will reload the page with a full quote of the post you are replying to, and which you can edit down the post as needed.

Please note, you can only use this feature once. You cannot repeatedly click the bookmark to re-quote the post in the same message box. If you click the bookmark a second time it will reload the reply box with the quote, and erase all of your work in progress. So please use this at your discretion and with awareness of the risk of misuse.
